Thanksgiving: Not just for Pilgrims anymore!
If you read my Africa blog, you may have already seen my post about my Canadian friends making us some delicious Canadian food for Canadian Thanksgiving the weekend before last! If not, here it is, if you're interested in some vague instructions on making poutine and/or beaver tails! Check it out!

Handling my Hot-Plate? Africa Post
Hey guys! I'm in Africa! I don't have any oven to love, nor do I have a microwave, stovetop, or a refrigerator that doesn't gross me out. But I do have a hot plate! I cooked pasta fagioli on it, which I probably already posted somewhere in this blog, but this time it's Africa pasta fagioli. So there.

First, assemble your ingredients. Then you can entertain yourself while the hotplate take 8 years to boil your water for the pasta.

While you're waiting, you can chop your onions and fry them. Luckily, that will take 8 years too, on the hot plate, so you can finish the pasta and onions a the same time.

When one of those things is done, you can heat up the vegetable broth and pasta sauce, and add the beans and eventually the onions.

Add the pasta and you're done! Delicious and pretty easy!
